Frankfurt – After the last-minute equalizer in the Hessenderby at SV Darmstadt 98, the next neighborhood duel is coming up for Eintracht Frankfurt.
Head coach Dino Toppmöller's team welcomes FSV Mainz 05 to the Waldstadion at home and wants to get three points in order to stay in touch with the international places.

“We will face an opponent who is very active.
Basically, the DNA of Mainz 05 is dictated to a certain extent by the club.
“It’s a team that is very active in pressing and counter-pressing and always starts up high,” said Toppmöller at the press conference before the game.
“Mainz’s quality lies in defending forward.
The central midfield is aggressive and lies in wait to win balls.
We have to adapt to these things.
We also have an idea if they defend deeper.
But it would be a credit to us to push them back so that they have to defend in the block.
Under the new coach they conceded a maximum of one goal in every game,” continued the SGE head coach.

After the early exit from the Africa Cup, Ellyes Skhiri and Farès Chaibi are also available again.
“Basically, it is of course a disappointment for the boys; they certainly had imagined the tournament going differently.
They will land in Frankfurt on Thursday evening.

“We will then decide, but both are an option for the squad,” Toppmöller is quoted as saying on the club’s own website about the approach to the duo.
Eintracht captain Rode is not an option for the starting eleven
Sebastian Rode has to be patient.
After his long injury, the captain is an option for the squad, but not for the starting line-up, as Toppmöller confirmed: “He is not yet a candidate for the starting eleven.
First of all, he needs a healthy training rhythm.
We should approach the matter step by step, it shouldn’t take too long.”
