Luca Mania.
Luka Doncic's historic performance tonight (between Friday and Saturday), in which he scored 73 points in his Dallas team's victory over Atlanta (143:148), of course drew many reactions, most of them praising the special Slovenian, who continues to engrave his name in stone as one of the game's greats .
Let's start with the party destroyer, former Boston Celtics star Paul Pierce, who tweeted: "This is a crazy league. I can't believe I saw two 70-point performances in one week, I really miss NBA defenses."
Pierce, by the way, holds a personal record of 50 points, which he scored sometime in 2006 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The legend of the game, Magic Johnson, also commented on Doncic's exceptional evening, and was enthusiastic: "What's going on in the NBA?! This league is on fire with another dominant performance. This time Luka Doncic with 73 points. wow".
Magic's record is also very far from Doncic's and stands at 46 points.

And there were also those who took this highlight evening in the direction of humor, such as Doncic's two friends, Grant Williams and Buban Marjanovic.
Williams, who plays with Luca in the Mavericks, tweeted a joint photo with the bridegroom and wrote: "You see 82 points here," after he scored a total of 9 points.
Marinovich, who left Dallas in 2022 and today plays for the Houston Rockets, uploaded a congratulatory video in which he said: "An amazing performance by Luca and me. We scored 76 points tonight... Congratulations Luca."

Doncic, as mentioned, is in the all-time top scorers table in third place, after Wilt Chamberlain (100 and 78 points) and Kobe Bryant (81 points).
He also matched David Thompson, but tonight he left behind big names like Elgin Baylor, David Robinson, Damian Lillard and Donovan Mitchell who each scored a career-high 71 points.
Of course, he also surpassed Joel Embiid and Devin Booker who scored 70 points each at their peak.
The latter, by the way, scored 62 points tonight, and lost with the Phoenix Suns.
