Chelsea player, Mykhailo Modric, challenged an angry fan of the team to play against him 1 on 1 for ten thousand euros, after the latter complained about the ability of the Ukrainian in the Premier League.
The Ukrainian winger has struggled to reach his full potential since arriving at Stamford Bridge last January, with impressive flashes alongside plenty of disappointing games.
Also yesterday (Sunday) Modric was one of the players who received criticism after the Blues' loss to the Wolves 4:2.
"Have you forgotten how to play soccer? Something needs to change. Maybe do some 1 on 1 training. Every time you play we have one less player on the field" claimed the angry fan in a DM he sent to Modric on Instagram.
The Ukrainian, did not remain indebted, and answered him: "We will play him 1 on 1, for ten thousand euros."

Steve Nicol attacked Modric after the loss: "Can someone please tell me what Modric does? Apart from being an Olympic sprinter, in football terms, what is he good at? He doesn't score goals, what kind of passing does he have? Is he a good dribbler? No. Does he connect ? No. What is he doing?"
"There are players who don't have a great football brain, like Modric for example. In an open game with a lot of space, with the speed he has, he will probably look good. But in terms of a football brain? Does he really have one? It doesn't look like that."
