This is the fifth club of the Belgian international's career.

After making his debut at Virton, in the lower divisions in Belgium, Thomas Meunier joined Club Bruges, where he exploded.

After 198 matches played in the colors of Blaux&Zwart, he then joined Paris Saint-Germain, where he took part in 128 matches in four seasons.

In Paris, he was notably French champion three times.

Having left for Germany at the end of his contract, he never really established himself in the Ruhr.

Blocked by multiple injuries, he had however started in Borussia's last seven Bundesliga matches.

Despite this return to favor, the German club agreed to sell him to Trabzonspor, where he signed until the end of next season.

In Turkey, Thomas Meunier hopes to have a lot of playing time to apply for a place in the Belgian squad at the next Euro.

Selected during the 2016 and 2020 Euros, and the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, the right back took part in a qualifying match.

Competed by Fulham player Timothy Castagne, he remains followed by Domenico Tedesco, the coach of the Belgian national team.
