It took a huge Lunin in the Real Madrid cages (9 saves!) and, in attack, an inspired Brahim Diaz for Real to win 1 goal to 0 against Xavi Simons' teammates.
The Spanish winger, starting in the absence of Jude Bellingham, delivered the

at the very start of the second half with a splendid goal (0-1, 49th), a strike into the top corner which concluded a solo rush on the side right.
