The Super Bowl couldn't have been more bitter for the 49ers.
The team from San Francisco gave up the victory and also lost a star.
Las Vegas – Everything initially went according to plan for the 49ers in the most important game of the year.
They were the better team for long stretches and led early thanks to a field goal from kicker Jake Moody.
But then their star linebacker suffered a serious injury and thus initiated the bankruptcy.
Dre Greenlaw writhes in pain during Super Bowl loss
In the sixth minute of the second quarter, Dre Greenlaw couldn't wait to get back on the field.
The linebacker tried to keep warm with quick jumps.
But with his first lunge onto the field, the 49ers football player fell to the ground without any outside influence.
Greenlaw immediately doubled over in pain and cried bitter tears.
His teammates tried to comfort him, but he could hardly be calmed down.
After a short treatment, the 26-year-old took the kart into the catacombs.
The team's hopes of a return of their star at the Super Bowl, in which Taylor Swift played one of the main roles and even brought in US President Joe Biden, were quickly dashed.

Greenlaw tears his Achilles tendon and returns on crutches
Greenlaw, who has 120 tackles this season, returned to Allegiant Stadium in the third quarter.
But the linebacker was already on crutches and wearing a thick special shoe to stabilize his ankle.
The bad news: a torn Achilles tendon.
The year is pretty much over for him, as Greenlaw is expected to be out for up to nine months.
And the evening didn't get any better for the star: he had to watch from the sidelines as his 49ers gave up the game.
In overtime, the Kansas City Chiefs finally took the trophy.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes, on the other hand, celebrated his third NFL title and was also named Super Bowl MVP for the third time.
The playmaker had 333 yards, two of the throws led to touchdowns.
