Until January 2023, Mohamed Bamba was still playing in the National League, but since then he has been on a rise that reached its peak today (Sunday) - literally.
The 22-year-old striker, born in the Ivory Coast, was sold in January 2023 from Po'el Rishon LeZion for 200,000 euros to Austrian Wolfsburger, and last January he registered an equally big upgrade, when he was sold for 5 million euros to Lorraine.
Some thought Bamba would need time to acclimatise, but the young striker had other plans.
Today he scored his fourth goal in a row, thus becoming the first player since Giora Spiegel in 1973 to find the back of the net in each of his first four games in the top division in France (the former Israeli star did it in the Strasbourg uniform).

Bamba found the net in the second minute, to make it 0:1 over Strasbourg, and three minutes into the added time of the first half he completed a double.
The game is still in progress.
