Global Sport Week in Paris to give meaning to sport

This new meeting of world sport created by Lucien Boyer and organized for two days at the Carrousel du Louvre aims to be a place of influence, inspiration and business.


New meeting of world sport, presented by its designers as "a place of influence, inspiration and business", Global Sport Week is organized this Thursday and this Friday at the Carrousel du Louvre, in the presence of many speakers and foreign and French guests. Lucien Boyen, its president and co-founder justifies the creation of this new event, on his website: "At the heart of this modern society, sport is influenced by the evolution of the world as much as it influences society, fashions of life and consumption of all kinds. This intimate bond convinced us that it is fundamental for leaders in sport, business and society to meet to understand the changes we are facing and thus contribute to the creation of a better world. »All« for a sustainable and innovative sport economy ».

Various interventions

A vast program therefore which is found in the program of the various interventions planned until Friday evening at the Louvre. The list is long and will be launched at 9 a.m. this Thursday by Roxana Maracineanu, Minister of Sports, Tony Estanguet, boss of the organizing committee of the Paris 2024 Games, Nadia Nadim, football player and Andrew Parsons, president of the International Paralympic Committee who will evoke the future of sport. This will be followed by interventions in fields as varied as citizen sport, generation Z, growing urbanization, the takeover of sportspeople, global warming, children's sports, the Arena of the future, data, integration through sport, new funding models and many other workshops and events…

From intelligence to square centimeters

Interventions by Yannick Bolloré, Guillaume de Monplanet, Mathias Vicherat, Matt Clifford, Russell Coutts, Matt Biondi, Jean-François Martins, Chase Carey, Jacky Lorenzetti, Youri Djorkaeff, Laurent Mignon and Lucien Boyer are scheduled (in particular) Friday evening the list of multiple (and hopefully interesting) speakers. With 1,500 participants of 70 different nationalities expected, there will in any case be intelligence and experience per square inch at the Carrousel du Louvre.
