Plesche's successor Tarik Sarisakal speaks in an interview about his job at FC Pipinsried and the broken commitment of Sascha Mölders as a player coach.

Plesche's successor Tarik Sarisakal speaks in an interview about his job at FC Pipinsried and the broken commitment of Sascha Mölders as a player coach.

  • Tarik Sarisakal is the new sporting director at FC Pipinsried.
  • The 47-year-old wants to bake small rolls in the future with the designated regional league climber.
  • Sascha Mölders' personnel was also “a question of price”.

One after the other, FC Pipinsried has lost its successful trio of Hürzeler, Plesche and Salemovic. The sporting director Roman Plesche is already gone from winter, while the coaching duo leaves the club in summer. Tarik Sarisakal takes over the position of Sports Director. Sascha Mölders was under discussion as a player coach, but the 1860 striker canceled the club because Sarisakal would like to take another week. We interviewed the new sporting director.

"Sariskal over Mölders:" They were all laid eggs "

Sascha Mölders has given FC Pipinsried a rejection. Why did you want to put him off for a week?

I've only been in office since Sunday. In the Presidium, we first have to determine where to go. With a caliber like Sascha Mölders, it is of course also a question of price. First of all, I would have wanted to check everything, when and how he is available and under what conditions he joins this association. These were all eggs that were not laid. It doesn't matter what personnel it is, we don't want to take a quick shot. If we commit ourselves, we have to be 100 percent convinced. This is not specifically geared towards Mölders. In the end we have to accept this decision from Mölders. The sporting factor always counts for us.

FC Pipinsried should keep its charm as a village club

Will you go the same way as predecessor Roman Plesche?

Roman did a very good job as Sporting Director at FC Pipinsried when you look at the success. The squad of the club is standing. Here we just have to evaluate with which players we will continue the next season with a possible promotion. Or vice versa, who takes the next step from boys to a higher league. I have to look at the structure of the club first.

What new impulses do you want to set at Pipinsried?

We want "back to the roots" again, back to the basics. We cannot afford the professional structure that prevails in the 3rd division, for example. The aim is to achieve the maximum with our circumstances. That would be the promotion to the regional league, the highest amateur class. Then of course we want to keep them. We want to become a large club that retains the charm of a Gallic village club. The first step will be to find a new capable trainer.

Are there any specific trainer candidates?

There are already talks with one or the other coach, but I don't want to put anything into the world out of respect for the clubs.

Sarisakal wanted to get out of the trainer track

Why did you choose to be the sports director at FC Pipinsried?

I worked as a trainer for 17 years. For me, that was no longer compatible professionally or athletically. I categorically rejected every trainer request. Pipinsried is a very interesting club and leaders in the Bayern League. It is a very demanding task, in which I will now get to know the scenario from the other side. In Fürstenfeldbruck I already took on such activities as a trainer. This includes transfers and contracts as well as drawing sponsors on land.

When were the first talks?

After Roman Plesche left office, Pipinsried contacted me. I don't know if I was the “A” or “B” solution, but the club was interested. After a few meetings, it was an easy decision for me to take the job.
