The handball players of TSV Schongau are still top in the district class: against the TV Pfronten, the team showed a concentrated performance - unlike in the game before.
Schongau - On the first defeat of the season last week, Schongau coach David Schmoldt said: "Maybe the damper came at the right time." The bankruptcy actually had a healing effect. Unlike against Mindelheim II, the Schongau handball players now delivered a concentrated performance in the district class home game against TSV Pfronten, which was rewarded with a 27:14 (14: 7) victory.
"At the beginning we had a difficult time, but in the end it was a convincing performance," said TSV President Ralf Konstantin, the coach David Schmoldt (came only at half time due to his job). "The defense was fine, but a few mistakes were still creeping in when we attacked."
TSV Schongau: goalkeeper Neumaier and Landes in good shape
Against the defensive Allgäu, the Schongauer only started from the 6: 5 lead (14th). Until the change, the home side allowed only two goals, so that the lead to seven goals increased.
After the break, the Lechstädter changed diligently. Nevertheless, the gap was continuously expanded. TSV goalkeeper Alex Landes earned good marks in the second half with some strong saves. He seamlessly followed on from keeper David Neumaier's good performance before the move. "The next opponents will be a different caliber," Schmoldt did not want to overestimate the result against the penultimate.
