Munich (AP) - The French soccer world champion Corentin Tolisso is at FC Bayern Munich according to a report by "Sport Bild" before a farewell in summer.
The 25-year-old midfielder is considered a sales candidate because of his unconvincing performances this season, as the newspaper reported. Tolisso had switched to the German record champion for € 41.5 million before the 2017/18 season and still has a contract until 2022.
According to the report, the Munich players do not want to conduct any contract negotiations before the round of 16 in the Champions League against Chelsea FC (February 25 / March 18). There is only one exception for Captain Manuel Neuer, whose contract expires in 2021. The contracts of world champions Thomas Müller and Jérôme Boateng, among others, will expire at Munich in the summer of 2021.
CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge recently announced contract talks with well-deserved stars such as Neuer, Müller, Boateng, Alaba, Thiago and Javi Martínez. High investments by FC Bayern are expected in summer, national players such as Leroy Sané (Manchester City) or Kai Havertz (Bayer Leverkusen) are considered candidates.
