TSV 1860 Munich and SpVgg Unterhaching are among the top in the third division when it comes to youth development. That was the result of the calculations of the DFB for the young talent fund.

Munich - The steep development of Dennis Dressel, Fabian Greilinger and Co. - it pays off for the Löwen not only in sporting terms, but also financially . The DFB announced yesterday that the calculations for the third division's junior support pool had been completed. Accordingly, MSV Duisburg participated most strongly in the past season (348,000 euros). This is followed by TSV 1860 , to which 303,000 euros will be distributed. Third place went to local rival SpVgg Unterhaching (259,000 euros). A total of 2.95 million euros in funding is paid out for the next generation each year . Only thatFC Bayern goes away empty-handed, as second teams from professional clubs do not participate in the third division funding pot. (mm)
