At least goals were scored: The DFB-Elf's insignificant test match against Turkey was mainly there for the supplementary players. Debutant Florian Neuhaus showed himself as well as striker Luca Waldschmidt.

There was only experience to be gained in this game: the German national team separated from Turkey 3: 3 (1: 0) in the friendly.

Captain Julian Draxler (45th + 1 minute), debutant Florian Neuhaus (58th) and Luca Waldschmidt (81st) brought the German B-Elf three times in front, but Turkey equaled with Ozan Tufan (50th), Efecan Karaca ( 67th) and Kenan Karaman (90th + 4) three times.

In addition to Neuhaus, the substitutes Jonas Hofmann and Mahmoud Dahoud also celebrated their debuts in the national team's insignificant test match.

National coach Joachim Löw did without some regular players like Toni Kroos from Real Madrid or Manuel Neuer from FC Bayern because they should be spared or like striker Timo Werner (Chelsea) are ill.

Accordingly, Löw put on a team of young talent and supplementary players who should have the opportunity to recommend themselves for the national team.

In the 3-4-3 system, Borussia Mönchengladbach's Florian Neuhaus made his debut in the national team, Julian Draxler started as captain.

It was Draxler who cheered after seven minutes.

From a few meters he dusted off to the supposed lead, but the French referee Benoît Bastien correctly decided on offside.

The Turkish team was dangerous even without stars like striker Cenk Tosun (cruciate ligament tear) or the spared Hakan Calhanoglu, but initially did not take advantage of their chances.

The DFB-Elf tried to build up an orderly game from the defensive chain with Emre Can, Robin Koch and Antonio Rüdiger.

The pressing Turks were able to disturb the ball control of the Germans again and again.

Over time, the Löw team gained significantly more possession, but was rarely able to stage its own attackers.

Nevertheless, the lead succeeded shortly before the break: The Turkish defense was disordered during a quick attack, Kai Havertz sent Draxler towards the penalty area and the captain put the ball past goalkeeper Günok to make it 1-0 into the net (45th + 1).

After the break, Turkey struck back.

Ozan Tufan slid the ball perfectly into the right corner of the goal (50th).

But shortly afterwards Germany took the lead again.

After a one-two with Havertz, debutant Neuhaus scored 2-1 (58th).

The Gladbacher looked unhappy when he conceded: Karaca pushed him to the side, took the ball from the six and scored in front of goalkeeper Bernd Leno to make it 2-2.

In the final phase, Waldschmidt managed to score the winning goal (81st).

After an unsuccessful attempt at clarification by the Turkish defense, the striker hit the bottom left into the goal.

Kenan Karaman (87th) had the opportunity to equalize shortly before the end, but only hit the crossbar.

In stoppage time he did better, from close range he scored 3: 3 (90 + 4)
