Tomer Hemed continues to adapt to the Australian league.
The Israeli striker of the New Zealand Wellington Phoenix opened this morning (Sunday) in the squad and completed a successful 90 minutes in his team's debut victory, 1: 2 over Central Coast Mariners.
And if that wasn’t impressive enough, Hemed cooked up his team’s first goal when he left with a heel a smart pass to Ulysses Dabila, who set up 0-1.
Joshua Sotirio scored in the 88th minute to score the winning goal for Wellington Phoenix after the equalizer of Ella Kello.
Following the victory, Wellington Phoenix rose to ninth place in the table.
