The 16th round of the basketball Premier League will be played for the most part in just two weeks, but it will start tomorrow (Monday, 21:00, live on 5 LIVE) in a game where Hapoel Jerusalem will host Hapoel Beer Sheva.
This is the second game of the season in the league between the teams in the league, and the fourth in all competitions, when in mid-December, Jerusalem defeated Be'er Sheva 81:83 away.
After a black January for her, Hapoel Jerusalem returned to the winning track on Friday with a comfortable away win over Maccabi Haifa, and thanks to Maccabi Tel Aviv's loss to Gilboa / Galil, but climbed to the top of the table.
Dainius Adumatis' team has not yet decided whether to continue with the current format of six foreigners on the roster until the end of the season, but in the meantime has received a positive sign from Malcolm Hill showing his best ability from the start of the season in a win at Romema.
The team hopes to continue the momentum at the expense of Beer Sheva, when in the evening it will be finally decided whether a change in the staff will be made before the game or not.
While most Premier League regulars are in the midst of a load of games, Hapoel Beer Sheva's schedule is more comfortable at this stage, with the team meeting the table lead in the next two games, but will continue to play up to at least one game a week until mid-March.
Last week, Beer Sheva came back from the third closure with a big away win over Maccabi Rishon Lezion and received excellent ability from Caleb Agada, and the team knows they will have to play better if they want to beat Jerusalem and enter the battle for sixth place at the end of the second round.
