Brazilian winger Ravinia scored a superb goal from a free kick to culminate in Leeds United's 3-0 victory over Southampton today, leaving Southampton with their seventh defeat in their last eight matches in the Premier League.
Leeds achieved victory today, after two consecutive defeats, to advance to the tenth place with 35 points, while Southampton continued in the 14th place with 30 points, eight points ahead of the relegation positions.
Southampton's troubles began early in the first half after the referee withdrew a penalty kick and canceled a goal in favor of the team before the break.
Patrick Bamford put Leeds United ahead two minutes into the second half and Stuart Dallas made it 2-0 in the 78th minute before Ravenia completed the hat-trick with a nice free kick six minutes later.
