Pao Gasol officially returned tonight (Tuesday) to Barcelona for a farewell season.
The official end of a wonderful career will be in the summer in the Spanish national team uniform at the Olympic Games.
Already last summer there was talk of a possible return of the 40-year-old chin, who has not played basketball since the 2018/19 season due to injury, and now this has come to fruition, a day before the end of the transfer window in the Euroleague for this season.

Gasol grew up in Barcelona and played in the senior team for three seasons before being selected in the draft in 3rd place in 2001.
From here began a glorious career in the best league in the world, beginning in Memphis, continuing in the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago, San Antonio and Milwaukee.
The Spanish center signed for Portland in 2019/20, but did not play due to injury and was released.
