Yuval Shamla told Maayan Adam on 103FM radio today (Sunday) about his surprising decision to retire from the Ninja Israel program, and confirmed that the fourth season will be his last in the program he won twice: "I thought about this thing for a very long time and most importantly "Only, from this sport that came into my life, but of course not from climbing."

Shamla added: "The main reason I enjoyed coming to compete in ninja so much is the preparation the competition required of me, when I had to figure out what I needed to do to get better and better. It attracted me very much every year, especially when I saw the program upgrade from time to time, but a lot "Sometimes it comes at the expense of competitions I had to compete in. The big dream is to compete in the Olympics, and every year I tried to combine ninja training with climbing training."

"At first I thought I would not compete in the fourth season," Shamla continued. "But in the end when I saw everyone training and getting ready for this thing - I decided I had to come again. So I trained as best I could, I did everything I could, and I said to myself - 'Well, let's make it my last season, and also the best I've had. "It will continue for the following purposes." Obviously it would be strange for me to watch the fifth season when I do not participate, but I think the decision to retire in the fourth season helped me compete again. Suddenly this season took on a different color for me, and the atmosphere is completely different. "

On the new life under the spotlight, he explained: "We all came to the ninja's first season because it was a sports competition, without even knowing which channel it would be broadcast on. Exposure has a lot of amazing sides, but sometimes it really feels weird - it doesn't always work out With training and with sports in general. The important thing for me is to ask myself if I can invest in what really matters to me, in what will really make me feel good about myself. These things are training, family and friends. An international competition season awaits me in the climbing world, and I have to prepare "I meet the criteria for the 2024 Olympics. The thing I love most about sports is to constantly think about how I can get better, and work hard to make it happen."
