The Football Association's court accepted the appeal of the team from the first division to host the rematch in the quarterfinals of the State Cup in Jaffa and not in Ramla • The decision reads:

In an unusual move, the Football Association's court today (Wednesday) accepted Maccabi Jaffa's appeal, and approved it to host the rematch against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the quarterfinals of the State Cup - at Bloomfield Stadium.

The first division team, whose home games are hosted at the Ramla Stadium, wanted to copy the game against the Yellows to the field in Jaffa, since according to the records, it has been considered the replacement field for several years.

The tribunal's decision reads: "According to the appellant, Bloomfield Stadium in Jaffa is located in the city where the team (Jaffa) is registered and has also been registered for several years as the alternative home court. Therefore, its right to host this game, You will probably be able to earn a considerable income as well as make it easier for its fans to get to the game. "

Meanwhile, the referee of the Football Association's Supreme Court, Amnon Strashov, also discussed the appeal filed by Hapoel Nof Hagalil CEO Gil Baram, regarding the dismissal he suffered following the fact that he attacked referee Liran Liani, after his team's loss to Hapoel Haifa 1: 0.

Baram was sent off for three games, but he did not take into account that the Supreme Court could aggravate the punishment, and so it did.

"The defendant has at his disposal a history of 17 previous convictions in the last ten years for misconduct, insulting a referee and more," Strashnov wrote in his decision.

"Eight of the convictions in the last three years."

He further added: "He was sentenced to fines and expulsion from a playing field for three, four and five games and has not yet learned the lesson. Therefore, we have come to the conclusion that the respondent is a 'bull of time'."

In light of these things, Strashov aggravated the punishment and suspended Gil Baram for a period of two months and banned him from being on the field for a long time.
