However, Marco Rose's side still have 45 minutes to improve their starting position for the second leg at Ibrox Stadium.

HALFTIME

44th minute:

BVB had the upper hand for a long time, but now it's going to be very difficult for Marco Rose's team.

Reyna and Moukoko warm up, probably the only remedy against the uncreative Dortmund offensive.

Europa League: BVB against Glasgow in the live ticker – double strike for Rangers

41 minutes: And this corner makes it 2-0!

The Colombian Morelos appears after the cross, which flies over friend and foe, all alone in front of the empty box and only has to push in.

40 minutes:

Now it's the Rangers' turn.

A cross from Barisic initially slips through, but Morelos is in the backcourt, who checks Kobel from an acute angle and takes out a corner.

38 minutes: The guest captain Tavernier is on point, takes a run-up and sends Kobel into the wrong corner.

The ball hits the bottom right - BVB is behind!

38 minutes:

And indeed!

BVB defender Zagadou was on the ball with his hand after a corner, and the penalty goes to Rangers!

37 minutes:

The Rangers push the ball back and forth, and suddenly Turpin gets something on his ear: penalty check by VAR!

34 minutes:

BVB brings some momentum back into things.

Reus gets through on the right, but his pass to the center with the hoe is cleared just in front of the goal line.

Another buyer was missing in the middle, but Erling Haaland is not in the squad today.

31 minutes:

After half an hour, the game flattens out a bit.

BVB can stop a short wave of attacks by the Scots.

But the host cannot make a profit from the standard either.

18 minutes:

BVB seems to have found their way into the game, but after losing the ball, Rangers indicate that they can influence the game significantly with their good switching game.

Dortmund should be warned.

14 minutes:

BVB could play out the first chance through a standard situation - could.

Because Marco Reus' cross is only cleared for a corner.

But this is where the first opportunity comes from.

Zauadou checks McGregor in the Rangers box with a header from around five meters, but this comes too centrally on the box.

The keeper has no problems.

The Rangers create the first half chance, Dortmund has not yet come in front of the opposing goal.

The guests are stable in the first few minutes and also dare to advance.

The Scots have been putting pressure on early on, but Dortmund can first free themselves.
