If some doubted it, Eileen Gu showed that she was really the star of these Olympics.
Already titled ahead of Tess Ledeux in the big air, the Sino-American was crowned Olympic champion in the halfpipe last night, and won her third medal in these Winter Games.
For their part, Bastien Midol and François Place qualified for the quarter-finals in ski cross while Jean-Frédéric Chapuis and the second in the general classification of the World Cup, Térence Tchiknavorian, were eliminated in the eighth.
Here's what to remember from the night.
Eileen Gu in the story
It's a torrent that destroys everything.
After her gold medal in big air and her silver in the slopestyle, the 18-year-old Chinese was crowned Olympic champion in the halfpipe last night.
Insatiable, she left no chance to her competitors, thanks to a first gala run, with a score of 95.25.
The Canadians, Cassie Sharpe (90.75) and Rachael Karker (87.65) complete the podium.
Eileen Gu thus becomes the first athlete to win two gold medals in freestyle skiing since the appearance of the discipline at the 1992 Olympics. And confirms her status as a huge star of these Olympics.

It's hard in ski cross
It's a small clap of thunder for the tricolor delegation.
Favorite to get plenty of medals in ski cross, France will only have one representative in the semi-finals with the qualification of François Place.
Olympic champion in Sochi, Jean-Frédéric Chapuis and Térence Tchiknavorian, second in the World Cup standings, finished in third place in their round of 16 while Bastien Midol, third in the World Cup, failed him in quarter-finals.
