With 14 medals, France failed to beat the record of 15 podiums held jointly by the editions of Sochi (2014) and Pyeongchang (2018).
Ditto for the number of titles - 5 -, which is as many as in South Korea, four years ago.
But the balance sheet fully satisfies Brigitte Henriques, the president of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee:
