Eli Desa's Vitesse vs. Sparta Blown Game (Sports1)
Eli Desa's great period was stopped last night (Friday) in Vitesse's game against Sparta Rotterdam.
The defender, who has cooked twice in his team's last two games, started in the squad against the bottom team in a game that could have dire consequences for Vitesse.
As you may recall, in the 0: 1 situation for the visiting team, Vitsa fans threw objects when a cup hit the head of Sparta goalkeeper Maduka Okoya.
The Nigerian goalkeeper lay down on the grass after being excellent and also saved Pendel in this game and the referee decided to stop the game even though he was already in his extra time.

This morning the Dutch association announced that there are three scenarios for this game.
1. that the result will be considered as the end result.
2. That the game be resumed from where it left off.
3. That the game will be held again from the beginning (a preferred script for Vitsa).
In the Netherlands it has been announced that a fan has already been arrested following the incident, but it is not clear at this time whether Vitesse will receive a collective punishment following this incident.
Pascal Van Wake, CEO of Vitsa commented on what happened and said: “Someone jumped over the fence.
Everything was very fast.
It is a pity that individual people are destroying everyone.
"I think they will catch him and ban him from entering the stadium for life."
This game was critical for Sparta, when three points lifted it above the red line.
