The results in the men’s and youth categories resulted in the winners of Ali Al-Haji (48 kg), Khalil Hussain (51 kg), Muhammad Al-Jabr (54 kg), Tariq Al-Abi (57 kg), Mudder (60 kg), Hussain Qabalan (63 kg), Haidera Al-Olayan (67 kg), Ubadah Jabr (71 kg), Omar Al-Saida (75 kg), Youssef Ahmed 81 kg, and Muhammad Shukair 48 kg, Abd al-Hakim Bizenko 51 kg, Muhammad Hossam Awad 57 kg, Ezzeddin Muhammad 63 kg, Islam Dia al-Din Barakat 67 kg, Muhammad Hekmat Mustafa 71 kg, Wissam al-Khidr 81 kg, Bahaa El-Din Hano 54 kg, Muhammad Ali Saeed 57 kg, Alaa Bassam 60 kg, and Tammam Alaa El-Din 67 kg, Salman Ajeeb 75 kg, Louay Hamsho 81 kg, Wael Badr El-Din Saeed 91 kg, and Mahdi Al-Khatib over 91 kg.
The head of the Federation of Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Mixed Fighting, Manar Al-Bazra, said in a statement to SANA: This tournament is important and enjoyed wide participation, and it is an important station within the preparations to participate in the upcoming foreign competitions, pointing out that it witnessed high skill levels, which is an indication of the good preparation of the players.
A number of the game's cadres pointed out that the muay thai game is witnessing a remarkable development, especially with the expansion of the base of its practitioners, pointing to the importance of this tournament, which highlighted the level of players and their ability to compete in the upcoming benefits.
A number of players crowned in the first places expressed their willingness to compete in the upcoming tournaments and raise the Syrian flag on the podiums in this sport, which is one of the ancient combat sports.
In a related context, kickboxing enthusiasts are on a date with the International Challenge Championship, which will be held tomorrow at Al-Jalaa Sports Hall in Damascus, with the participation of eleven players from Iraq, Jordan and Palestine, in addition to eleven players from Syria.
