The next World Cup will take place in 2022.

The DFB team is entering the hot phase, with two important friendlies coming up.

Frankfurt - The start of the World Cup year has two international matches in store for the German national team: on Saturday (March 26) they face Israel, three days later on Tuesday the big game against the Netherlands is on the agenda.

At a press conference in the DFB headquarters in Frankfurt, protagonists of the DFB team comment on the upcoming tasks.

On Thursday there are two shooting stars in the German squad.

Julian Weigl, who is in the quarter-finals of the Champions League* with Benfica Lisbon.

David Raum from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim will answer questions about this.

The left-back played for Greuther Fürth last season and has made it into the squad for the German national team thanks to strong performances.
