The expected income from the game operations until the end of the season cannot cover the running costs by a long shot," said Türkgücü managing director Max Kothny after the decisive works meeting on Thursday.

She was eagerly awaited, and insolvency administrator Max Liebing presented his prognosis for the club.

It was - in the truest sense of the word - devastating.

Some professionals, including captain Alexander Sorge, had even offered a salary cut.

But even that wasn't enough to save her.

The DFB had deducted eleven points from the club.

Too much to even have a realistic chance of staying up.

But as of April, the employment agency will no longer pay the salaries of the employees. Türkgücü would have to manage the operation alone, but can't.

This also impressed potential financiers, who were ultimately deterred by the high risk of relegation as a result of the threat of points being deducted, ”explained Kothny that the DFB fine had also made it difficult to find investors.

There are many explanations for the case of Türkgücü Munich and question marks remain.

In which league will the club start next season?

That will be decided in the coming weeks, according to the club.

One thing is certain: the remaining third division games will take place without Türkgücü.

And the games played so far are also taken out of the ranking, with major consequences for the table.
