Two bronze medals for the artistic swimming team in Paris Israel today

The team closes the world round competition in Paris on the podium in the group exercises • Coach Larissa Kunin: "We are very pleased with the result, now face the World and European Championships"


The Israeli team in artistic swimming tonight (Sunday) honored its participation in the world round competition in Paris with two bronze medals in the group exercises.  

The technical (short) exercise of the team was completely new and was performed in a music premiere from the series The Squid Games.

For this exercise they scored a high of 82.5568 points, with the US winning gold and Canada silver. 

In the freestyle, the swimmers scored 84.4667 points, in which the winner was the Spanish team, while Canada won the silver again. 

The exercises were attended by Sheli Bobritzky, Maya Dorf, Ariel Nasi, Nicole Nachshonov, Noy Gazla, Polina Prykzchikova, Katie Kunin, Neta Rubitchek, and Avital Podkofiev (Shani Raizin and Omer Glazer replace).

Leading the team were coaches Anna Teres, Larissa Kunin and Valeria Aprileva. 

One of the team's coaches, Larissa Kunin, concluded: "This was our first international competition this season, and it was very successful for us. We came here mainly to get feedback on the new exercises and get the young swimmers who joined the youth team into the senior team, and we are very pleased with the result. "Now face the World Championship and the European Championship, in the hope that we will only get better from performance to performance."
