Another fun night of the NBA playoffs tonight (between Monday and Tuesday) included three games, led by the Boston Celtics and Jason Taitum, who finished 0-4 in the series over the Nets with a fourth straight win.

Tonight:

Philadelphia - Toronto 103: 88 (The Raptors shrank to 3: 2 in the series)

Brooklyn - Boston 116: 112 (Celtics completed 0: 4 in the series)

Dallas - Utah (The Mavericks went up to 2: 3 in the series)

Brooklyn - Boston 116: 112 (Celtics complete 0: 4 in the series)

This was supposed to be the first-round series in the playoffs, but Boston made it easier than expected, Brooklyn fell apart too easily and too quickly, and in the end the Celtics became the first to advance to the next round.

Jason Taitum scored 29 points, though he came out with six early fouls, Jaylen Brown scored 22, Marcus Smart scored 20 and added 11 assists, and now Boston is waiting for the winner between Milwaukee and Chicago (1: 3 to the Bucks).

Remember, Boston had a chance in the last game of the season to lose and thus avoid a meeting with the big stars of Brooklyn, but the Celtics were not afraid, and it paid off for them.

Brooklyn, on the other hand, faltered all season and hoped that suddenly in the playoffs the Stardust would wake her up, but that just didn’t happen.

A strong finish to the season placed her in seventh place, but the team continued to disappoint even in moments of truth.

The Celtics, on the other hand, looked bad during the season, but finished it with 31 wins in the last 41 games, and continued their momentum.

Tonight Kevin Durant heard the criticism of his passivity and threw non-stop.

He finished with 39 points on 13 of 31 from the field and 3 of 11 from the three, but will not remember this series well.

Kyrie Irving scored 20 points in 45 minutes on the court, Seth Kerry scored 23. For Durant this is the first time he has lost in the first round since 2010 in Oklahoma City.

Boston led 75:90 in the third quarter, but Brooklyn came back.

Irving's three-pointer shrank to 109: 108 with 1:28 left to go.

Brown scored a basket, and Durant on the other side missed from the line, and Al Horford with an offensive rebound made it 109: 113 with 13 seconds to go, and in fact finally defeated the Nets.
