Boston celebrates victory over Brooklyn in Game 3 (from the official Celtics Twitter)

After Brooklyn’s relegation tonight (Monday through Tuesday) at a humiliating 4-0 lead in the first round of the playoffs against Boston, the dirt around the constellation that collapsed below expectations continues to come out.

Past legend and commentator Charles Barkley said harsh words against Nets star Kevin Durant, who did not remain obligated and responded back to the 59-year-old Hall of Fame member in an exchange of teasing and accusations that began on TNT's sports program and went viral.

Barkley accused Durant of not being a leader and actually riding on the successes of the other players with whom he played throughout his career.

The former Houston star referred to the forward as a "bus passenger", claiming that "if you're not the driver of the bus, do not turn around and declare yourself a champion. If you're just traveling, I do not want to hear that. "Hey, you're just the passengers. When you're driving all the pressure on you. It's a different animal."

After the commotion that ensued, the commentator tried to explain himself: "Durant is a great player. My intention is not that he eats for free. He was a very important player in the two championships he won. The point I was trying to make clear was that when you are the team's sole star, responsibility changes. "You can not have bad games. My intention was that now he has the bus that is his and he drives it. Now he is the leader. He is completely a bus driver."

Between his initial remarks Barkley on television and his remarks after the subject went viral, Kevin Corant - who is very active on the social network - responded with a well-known sarcasm.

The forward posted a post that included photos of Barkley from his time in Houston surrounded by his friends from the great Houston of the '90s and another photo of him from the's 80s in a Philadelphia uniform, all under the sarcastic caption: "Where would Chuck have been without the big guys?".

Charles Barkley played in the NBA from 1984-2000 and is considered one of the greatest basketball players in league history who failed to win the championship.

In his first eight years in the league he played in Philadelphia a relationship with legends like Moses Malone and Dr. Jay.

In 1992 he moved to Phoenix, with whom he reached the playoff finals in 1993 only to lose to the Bulls and Michael Jordan.

In 1996 he moved to Houston where he played four years until his retirement in 2000. He was once named MVP of the regular season and won two gold medals with Citrus Tim (1992 and 1996).
