Sports giant Adidas and the global environmental organization Farley, which works to cleanse the ocean of plastic parts due to the severe pollution crisis, are launching the annual race for the ocean.
The race, which takes place digitally all over the world, will open on May 23 and end on June 8, as part of the project, everyone will be able to connect to the Adidas app and gain miles every minute, and for every 10 minutes of running, plastic will be collected from the ocean floor.
The goal is to reach a goal of 250,000 kg of plastic from the sea, while accumulating 250 million minutes of running.

The purpose of the event is to raise awareness of sea cleanliness, and show that millions of small steps and a joint effort can make a huge difference.
