Severe penalty for Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The court of the Football Association decided today (Sunday) to apply the suspended sentences of the Yellows, who suffered a radius game, and closing stands 10-11 for five league games. In addition, the club was fined NIS 10,000.
"We are aware of the efforts of the team's management to eradicate the phenomena and apprehend unruly fans, and even to the fact that in this game some of the rioters were caught but the severity of things justifies significant punishment in addition to the use of probation," the tribunal said.
As you may recall, the decision came after the events of the Cup semi-final against Hapoel Beer Sheva, in which the yellow crowd rioted, throwing objects on the lawn and torches.
It should be noted that the penalty will only apply in the league and not in the Toto Cup, and will even spill over to next season, since until the end of the season, Maccabi Tel Aviv has only two home games left.

In addition, the observer report on behalf of the association added that in the 48th minute, Maccabi Tel Aviv fans heard "tasting a terrorist" and in the 81st minute, Maccabi Tel Aviv fans threw parts of chairs into the field.
