Hapoel Haifa owner Yoav Katz is currently meeting with coach Slobodan Drapic in an attempt to close with him all the details regarding the team's coaching next season.
The parties meet in Haifa and hope that an agreement will be reached.
Even before they met, the parties reached an agreement in principle on a two-year contract, with Drapich being allowed to appoint another assistant to work with, along with the existing team.
An hour earlier, the Reds had inaugurated the team’s Hall of Fame outside the locker rooms at Sami Ofer Stadium.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Haifa, Dr. Einat Klish Rotem, the owner Yoav Katz and the chairman of the stadium, Itamar Chizik.
Also invited are big names who previously played for Hapoel Haifa, including Eli Leventhal, Ruby Young and others.
Players in the current team, such as Alon Turgeman, Gal Erel, Liran Serdel and others, also came to pay their respects at the event.
Yoav Katz,
"I sincerely hope that in the coming years we will also see degrees here," said Klish Rotem in her remarks, adding to the importance of the history and past of the Red Club in the city.
Yoav Katz added: "We are the first Hapoel club in Israel and there is a glorious history that can be seen here in the corridor. We have invested in the small details."
