The Colombian Football Federation has announced the appointment of Argentine Nestor Lorenzo as coach of the national football team.
The Colombian Federation confirmed on its official website that Lorenzo will supervise the national team during the next four years for the World Cup finals, which will be organized jointly by Canada, the United States and Mexico in 2026.
Lorenzo, 56, will replace national coach Reinaldo Rueda, who failed to lead Colombia to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
