BVB commits important employees of FC Bayern: Fourth station in the Bundesliga

BVB follows up on the transfer market.

Borussia Dortmund uses FC Bayern again, but in the scouting department of Munich.

Munich – BVB's transfer summer has been impressive so far.

Borussia recently reacted to the departure of Erling Haaland by signing Karim Adeyemi, previously they secured the services of Freiburg's Nico Schlotterbeck.

The two newcomers were also on FC Bayern's list, but this one came up empty-handed.

In addition to Niklas Süle's free transfer, BVB has now grabbed another top performer from Munich - albeit from the scouting area.

As with the Süle transfer, Borussia benefited from the expiring contract of a Bayern employee.

, record champion Laurent Busser’s previous “scouting team leader” will be looking for a player for BVB in the future.

With Busser, the runner-up gets an enormously experienced scout who knows the Bundesliga inside out.

The 52-year-old was employed as chief scout by the record champions from January 2018 to June 2021.

Previously, Busser worked for Bundesliga competitor Bayer Leverkusen for six and a half years as a scout and chief scout and discovered, among other things, the Jamaican Leon Bailey, who now plays in the Premier League.

Before coming to Leverkusen, the Frenchman worked for TSG Hoffenheim from 2008 to 2011.

Busser is considered an absolute expert on French football and has a good eye for talent.

For example, he recommended that FC Bayern transfer the now 19-year-old central defender Tanguy Nianzou on a free transfer.

Bayern's technical director Marco Neppe loses one of his closest employees with Busser.

The France specialist was apparently included in some transfers by Bayern's squad planner.

That's why Bayern brought in promising players from the neighboring country in recent years, and the France block included seven players last season.

BVB brings France scout from FC Bayern - Busser apparently decided against the Premier League club
