KREISLIGA-RELEGATION TSV Zorneding wants to celebrate against VfB II

Zorneding/Forstinning – curtain up, fanfare and let's go.

Tomorrow, district classist TSV Zorneding will welcome VfB Forstinning II to the local sports park at 2.30 p.m. for the second leg of the relegation for the district league.

The first encounter ended in a 2-1 win for the VfB runners-up – thanks to the away goals rule, the starting position promises plenty of excitement for what is definitely the last game of the season for the two clubs.

After the win in the first leg last Wednesday, VfB coach Michael Stiegler, his supervisor Alexander Scherl and the Forstinninger department head sat together over an analysis beer on the club's own terrace and pondered what had happened.

"Of course we now want to take the final step," says Stiegler.

With this, the Forstinninger Reserve would have lifted the league in the district league that seemed impossible a few weeks ago.

Four victories from the last four games meant the jump to the relegation ranks.

And the final step would be to stay up.

Tight result, but still a “deserved defeat”

"I also think we deserved to win in the end," emphasized the Forstinningen coach.

"We didn't allow anything more in the second half." And thanks to Abdulah Aynaci's dream goal, we just won 2-1.

The experienced coach still mourned the two big chances in the final phase, but he could live with the close result.

With the burden of defeat, TSV Zorneding is now going into the second leg.

But coach Sascha Bergmann also knows that a 1-0 win would pave the way to the district league.

In his review of the first duel, the former Waldtruderinger came to the same conclusion as his Forstinninger counterpart.

"We started the game well and missed the second goal.

Nothing went forward in the second half.

It was a close result but a deserved defeat.”

Ascension celebration is not planned yet

With regard to the starting formation, there are still various thoughts in Bergmann's considerations, in any case there are more players ready compared to Wednesday.

"But we assume that we will have to step up our game," emphasized the Zornedinger trainer.

Completely independent of individual players, a collective increase is necessary for Bergmann to achieve promotion back to the district league.

Coach Bergmann has not yet dealt with the side effects such as a possible graduation or promotion party: “There is nothing planned yet.

We'll see what happens.” The Zornedingers are definitely prepared for the football festival.

Department head Jakob Bouacha expects 400 to 500 spectators thanks to appropriate advertising on the various information channels, including analog posters in the municipal area.
