The 2022 playoff in the Winner Basket League reaches its climax tonight (Monday), with the opening of the final series between Bnei Herzliya and Hapoel Holon in the Jubilee Hall.
Both teams come in full faith that this is their season, after each of them has already made its own history: Herzliya won the state cup for the second time in its history and advanced to the playoff finals for the first time, while Holon recorded its European record ever when qualifying for the Champions League Final Four.
Now, each of them wants to expand their degree cabinet.

Both Holon and Herzliya have played great basketball in the playoffs so far and have lost only once in six games.
Both also showed a lot of character in the semi-final series: Herzliya when they went from a 1-0 deficit to a 1: 2 victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv, Holon when they left behind a frustrating home loss in game 2, and defeated Hapoel Jerusalem Arena for the second time in the series.
All nine finals series held in the best-of-three method ended in a victory for the home team.
In seven of the previous nine series finals in the best-of-three method, the team that won the first game went on to win the championship.

These are teams that play in a very different style on offense: Herzliya likes to go in for its relative advantages, whether it's Chinano Onoako selected as the MVP of the season or Morris Kemp, who presents an outstanding playoff;
Holon loves the open field and relies mostly on its guards: Joe Ragland and Tyros Maggie have provided great personal displays in the previous two series, and they want to take the team to another peak.
