For the first time, an official delegation from the union will travel to an Arab country to sign a cooperation agreement.

This coming Monday, an official delegation of the Basketball Association will go on a historic visit to Morocco.

The purpose of the visit is to sign an agreement of cooperation between the parties, with Morocco asking the basketball association for help in developing the basketball in its country and especially the women's basketball.

This is the first time an official delegation of the Basketball Association has gone to an Arab country to sign a cooperation agreement.

The union has such agreements with quite a few countries, including Germany, Russia, Poland, Cyprus and more, but there has not yet been an agreement with an Arab country.

The delegation that will meet the heads of basketball in Morocco will be headed by the association's chairman Amiram Halevi and with him the head of the women's professional division of the association Moishela Weinkranz. The delegation will visit Marrakesh, the Moroccan capital, Rabat Local, to be held next Wednesday in Casablanca, as we have published.
