"What I saw exceeds everything that the human mind can imagine": the delegation of prosecutors from the countries of the world visited Gaza City | Israel today

During the visit, organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Justice and with the cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the members of the delegation toured the Western Negev region and Kibbutz Kfar Gaza.

They met with senior officials in the security, justice and foreign affairs systems who specialize in the fight against terrorism.

When the prosecutors toured Gaza City, Bulgaria's state attorney, Borislav Sprov, said: "I want to convey a message of support and friendship from the Bulgarian people to the State of Israel and its residents. The whole world must stand by Israel in the fight against terrorism, the fight against anti-Semitism and the war against Hamas."

After the screening of the film, the Bulgarian attorney added: "What I saw exceeds everything that a human mind can imagine. I did not believe that something like this could happen in the 21st century, that we would witness such atrocities."

"Beyond the mourning and prayers for the return of the abductees, we must look up and look at the crimes committed here. The punishments that will be given to those who committed these atrocities in Israel will send a message to the whole world that these crimes must not be repeated. I am convinced that not only lawyers, but every normal person supports Israel in the struggle In terrorism, this is the only way to bring security to its citizens," said Bulgaria's attorney, Borislav Sprov.

At the end of the tour, the members of the delegation, which included general prosecutors and senior prosecutors from the United States, Germany, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Estonia, along with diplomats from Japan and Australia who are staying in Israel, met with families whose loved ones are still abducted in Gaza.

They also met senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and representatives from the security agencies dealing with the fight against terrorism in Israel and around the world.

The Director General of the Ministry of Justice, Itamar Donnenfeld, commented on the visit: "We welcome the arrival of the delegation and their response to the Ministry of Justice's invitation to come here and hear and see for themselves the dimensions of the massacre experienced by thousands of Israeli residents in the terrorist attack of October 7.

The delegation's visit and our opportunity to show them up close the heinous crimes that Hamas has committed, is another and significant step in our efforts in the international legal arena and promoting the use of enforcement measures against senior Hamas officials and activists worldwide."
