Sagi Muki will meet Said Moulay in the quarterfinals of the Budapest Grand Slam

The Budapest Grand Slam in Judo continues today (Saturday) when world champion Sagi Muki defeated his French rival Nicolas Schillar in the first round on the way to a spicy and historic meeting in the quarterfinals against Said Moulay.
The judoka of Iranian descent defeated his Greek opponent and after a historic encounter between the two took place at the Tel Aviv Grand Slam due to Muki's early dismissal, now the two members will face each other for the first time.
Muki was more active than his French opponent, who suffered two penalties during the fight.
Towards the end, the Israeli world champion registered an iPhone and secured the victory.

At the 2019 World Championships, Said Moulay, who was still competing under the Iranian flag, lost in the semi-finals and claimed that he and his family were pressured to do so in order to avoid a possible encounter with the Israeli Sagi Muki.
The judoka who left Iran competed in the Tokyo Olympics under the Olympic flag of non-national athletes and has since received Mongolian citizenship.
Tohar Botbol (up to 73 kg) also qualified for the quarterfinals. He automatically advanced to the second round, where he defeated an opponent from Kazakhstan.
In women: Gili Sharir (up to 63 kg) defeated Padilla Guerrero from Spain and advanced to the second round.
Maya Goshen (up to 70 kg) defeated Alina Langler from Switzerland using an iPhone.
