Novak Djokovic won his 21st Grand Slam title at the Wimbledon tennis tournament.
The 35-year-old prevailed in a varied final against Nick Kyrgios after three hours on Sunday afternoon 4: 6, 6: 3, 6: 4, 7: 6 (7: 3).
For Djoković it was already the seventh success at the traditional grass tournament in the London borough, he also won the tournament last year.
The Serb is now missing a Grand Slam title to catch up with the current record winner Rafael Nadal (22).
It was still unclear whether he would try to do this at the upcoming US Open (from August 29th).
