A fan in the USA wanted to find out - and got a clear answer from Weilheimer.

This scenario seems absolutely unimaginable.

Although you should never categorically rule out anything in the fast-moving football business, the departure of the Bavarian veteran seems very abstract.

A football fan in the USA, apparently a supporter of the Premier League club FC Arsenal, did not want to miss the opportunity to ask Müller about a possible move to England.

Müller responds to a fan question with a grin and a shake of the head

After a training session in Washington DC, where FC Bayern is currently holding its training camp as part of its trip to the USA, the fan asked Müller whether the 32-year-old was considering a move to Arsenal.

For Müller, however, this idea seems just as absurd as it is for the majority of all Bayern fans.

Accordingly, the answer was not long in coming.

With a grin and a shake of his head, Müller replied "No, no, no".

Of course you can still try your luck with such a question.

However, if the fans on the sidelines had dealt with Bayern's transfer activities this summer, they could have answered the question themselves.

By the way, Müller reacted to Lewy's departure with a curious post.

Logically, then, that further offensive departures are not planned, especially not from identification figures like Müller, who could play a new role in Julian Nagelsmann's system in the future.

In fact, Bayern emerge as one of the top buyers this transfer window.

Around 120 million euros have already been spent on newcomers.

For the latest signing Matthijs de Ligt, the Munich team put around 70 million euros on the table.

The price for Sadio Mané was almost 32 million euros, Ryan Gravenberch cost around 18 million euros.

Even top clubs from the Premier League, where money is usually a little looser, have so far invested less in the squad than Bayern.

This summer, Manchester City, for example, is currently spending almost 110 million euros.
