FC Bayern would like to strengthen with Konrad Laimer, but RB Leipzig demands a handsome transfer fee.
The next poker is in the offing.
Munich – In the current transfer window, almost everything seems to be going well at Bayern.
After the commitments of Noussair Mazraoui and Ryan Gravenberch from Ajax Amsterdam, Munich presented their first royal transfer with Sadio Mané.
With Matthijs de Ligt, the next top-class player is coming to the Isar, but that's not the end of Bavaria's activities on the transfer market.
In addition to young forward Mathys Tel, Konrad Laimer is also set to move to Munich.
The first offer was apparently already received from RB Leipzig.

FC Bayern makes an offer for Konrad Laimer - but Leipzig demands a considerable sum
Laimer has been an issue at Bayern for months, and Julian Nagelsmann in particular is convinced of his "pressing machine" from the past in Leipzig.
The sporting management apparently wants to grant the head coach his wish and is reportedly negotiating for the Austrian midfielder.
On Monday, Sky reported a first written offer from Munich, which the Saxons are said to have received.
According to the pay TV broadcaster, Bayern are offering a market-driven EUR 20 million for the 25-year-old's services.
However, those responsible at RB Leipzig demand significantly more, they do not want to give up the versatile professional for less than 30 million euros.
Laimer's contract runs until the summer of 2023, and he has already rejected an extension.
Apparently, the player wants to work with his former coach again and sees his future exclusively in Munich.
Does Laimer fit into the heavily occupied Bayern midfield?
Goretzka break shows vulnerability
With Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Marcel Sabitzer, newcomer Ryan Gravenberch and returnee Adrian Fein, FC Bayern has a slight oversupply of central and defensive midfielders.
On the other hand, the most recent mandatory break for Goretzka, who underwent surgery due to knee problems and was therefore absent for weeks, shows how quickly the situation can change.
Laimer would probably be a reinforcement for the squad due to his flexibility and duel strength.

Is Konrad Laimer coming to Bayern?
Kahn and Mintzlaff were already on the phone
According to the report, there has already been a phone call between Bavaria's CEO Oliver Kahn and Leipzig's managing director Oliver Mintzlaff.
So the two sides are getting closer to each other, apparently they only have to agree on the transfer fee.
However, Leipzig has the better negotiating position, now it also depends on Hasan Salihamidzic.

On Tuesday afternoon, when asked about a possible Laimer transfer, he was still somewhat cautious towards Sky.
"We have to make sure that we get the other transfers through, then we have to see what's next," said the sporting director.
"The players we wanted chose us," he added confidently of the transfers already made.
With Laimer, the next preferred candidate could now switch to the record champions.
