Derby time in district league 4: TSV Peiting is expecting promoted players Wildsteig/Rottenbuch, but is currently going through difficult times.

Altenstadt makes a guest appearance in Landsberg.

District – The table of the district league 4 at the beginning of September is not really meaningful, also because the eight teams have played different numbers of games.

However, it is becoming apparent that the first three places will probably be hard fought.

That's why every point is important for the three representatives from the old district of Schongau in the race for the promotion round.

TSV Peiting currently has "sand in the gears"

"We're currently a mess," admits Fabian Melzer, the coach of TSV Peiting ahead of the home game this Saturday against FC Wildsteig/Rottenbuch (3.30 p.m., TSV-Platz on Münchener Strasse).

Just a win in three games and a very poor performance at Jahn Landsberg are not what the reigning runner-up had in mind.

In the duel against the district rivals, the TSV now also has to contend with major personnel worries.

Elias Heiss (suspended), Christoph Enzmann, Daniel Slowiok, Julian Floritz (all on vacation), Christoph Eberle, Jonas Zurl (both work-related) and Christoph Hertl (injured) are missing against the promoted team.

"It's going to be tight, we'll have to improvise," admits Melzer, who keeps the ball low.

"We define our role in the game a little more cautiously,"

FC Wildsteig/Rottenbuch without any problems in terms of "staff"

The guest, on the other hand, has no problems with the set-up.

"We can fall back on the same squad as last time in Unterdiessen," reports FC coach Fabian Lindauer.

"Peiting didn't have the best start, but they're strong.

I expect them to be among the front runners at the end,” Lindauer sees his men as outsiders, despite their much better record compared to the home side.

"We're looking forward to the derby, everyone did a good job in training," reports Lindauer, who sees his men prepared for this game.

As far as ambition is concerned, the people from Peiting are in no way inferior to the guests.

"Everyone here is highly motivated and wants to make people forget the catastrophic first half in Landsberg," says Melzer.

"Now I'm hoping for a hot duel, lots of spectators and a threesome,

so as not to lose touch with the front,” said the TSV coach.

But the opponent wants to prevent that as much as possible: “We will put in everything we have.

We'll definitely get our chances and want to take something with us," said Lindauer.

TSV Altenstadt hopes for the first points

"Every team currently playing against us is a favourite," says Daniel Hindelang, the coach of TSV Altenstadt, who still has no points.

In view of the thin cast he currently has available, he has to bake very small rolls.

This also applies to the guest appearance this Saturday at FT Jahn Landsberg (3 p.m.).

"We still have a long list of vacationers and sick people, but we will have 14 people available," reports Hindelang.

He's hoping playmaker Yasin Akcakaya, who has returned from vacation, will eventually play.

The recently injured Kadircan Yapici may also play at Jahn, who collected four points in three games.

"The Landsbergers play straight, no frills and they are a good transition team," says Hindelang about the opponent, whom he observed in the 1-1 draw in Utting.

The results of the past season against the FT speaks for the TSV.

Altenstadt won both duels (3:2, 4:1).

"We will prepare as best we can and try to sell ourselves properly," Hindelang hopes for countable in Landsberg.

No later than mid-September, when all vacationers are back,
