The Israeli wheelchair basketball team up to the age of 23 is currently playing in the World Championship held in Thailand.
This morning (Sunday) the team achieved a prestigious victory over the United States team, in a close match that ended after overtime with a score of 52:59.
In a situation of 49:49, the Americans had a chance to win the game at the end of the legal time, but their three went out, and in overtime the Israeli team managed to win.

The group stage of the championship will end tomorrow with a match against Thailand, and in any case, the Israeli team qualified for the next stage from second place - after the German team that will finish first at home.
