1. FC Union Berlin remains at the top of the table after the 10th match day of the Bundesliga.
In the top game against Borussia Dortmund, the Berliners won 2-0 (2-0) in their own stadium.
Janik Haberer scored both goals (8th and 21st minute).
Due to the bankruptcy, Dortmund slipped to eighth place.
The game started with a mistake by Dortmund keeper Gregor Kobel.
After a back pass, the 24-year-old wanted to play the ball to the right, but slipped away.
Janik Haberer had an easy game and scored the early lead (8th).
Even after that, Union showed why it is currently at the top of the Bundesliga.
Haberer made it 2-0 before Dortmund could even get a grip (21'): Once again, Union played quickly forward, via Sheraldo Becker and Jordan Siebatcheu the ball came to Haberer, who shot from around 25 meters.
It was the first Bundesliga brace for Haberer.
Union was much more poisonous in the duels in the stadium at the Alte Försterei, BVB had much more possession of the ball, but could not use it.
The attackers Youssoufa Moukoko and Karim Adeyemi didn't find their way into the game at all.
Marco Reus also without ideas
BVB trainer Edin Terzić reacted during the break and made three changes: Marco Reus made his comeback after a four-week injury break, as well as Donyell Malen and Julian Brandt.
Initially, little changed in the game.
BVB had the ball, but Union had little trouble keeping Dortmund away from their own goal.
Timo Baumgartl almost made it 3-0 for Union, but BVB keeper Kobel was able to parry the header (56').
Dortmund only got stronger in the final phase, but Moukoko could not overcome keeper Frederik Rönnow (78th).
Union visibly ran out of power three days after the Europa League win against Malmö.
Nevertheless, it was enough to win against neglectful Dortmund.
