The Red and Whites practiced the final shot on goal diligently in training.
In vain: In Hausham they again had to admit defeat with 0:1.
Hausham/Bad Tölz – Shortly before the game, red-white coach Sebastian Wagner had to cancel his trip to SG Hausham due to illness.
Assistant coach and central defender Adrian Ackermann stood in for Wagner, but couldn't work miracles either.
After last night's 0-1 draw in Hausham, Tölz's run without a win extended to five, while the hosts climbed into second place.
"That was absolutely undeserved," summed up Ackermann.
"We played the game and had 70 percent possession, but they scored the goal of the day."
If you want to defeat the SG, you first have to find a recipe to unhinge the extremely strong back line;
Goalkeeper Michael Wiesböck only had to concede nine goals out of the net.
The guests initially tried it from a distance: Wiesböck fended off a deflected shot by Fatih Kocyigit just as resolutely as two treacherous bounces by Shpend Sahiti and shortly afterwards by Peter Murcko.
What the Tölzer didn't succeed in, namely sinking a dust collector, was done by Hausham's clipper Kilian Siglreitmaier with ease.
Sahiti scraped the previous shot off the line, but the follow-up shot was spot on.
In view of the Tölz final weakness, the Haushamer withdrew again with the lead in the back.
The red-white attacks were almost desperate, but the flanks were "too imprecise", as Ackermann admitted.
Ahmad Abu Swid, Benedikt Muck, Kocyigit and Murcko kept aiming at the Haushamer box from a distance, but were not lucky enough to shoot.
"It's a shame," summed up Ackermann, "a point wouldn't have moved us up the table, but it would have been immensely important for morale."
