Surprising statement: Hainer clearly rejects Kane: "No need"

Harry Kane would fit the profile of FC Bayern - a real nine is urgently needed.
But Herbert Hainer sees it completely differently.
Munich – The nine-player discussion hasn't let go of FC Bayern since Robert Lewandowski's departure.
However, a possible solution will probably not become reality for the time being: President Herbert Hainer has ruled out a transfer of the English striker Harry Kane to Bayern Munich.
Hainer told

TV: "Harry Kane is a very good player, but we have a top team.
If I look at our attack, then other clubs would lick their fingers.
We don't have a need at the moment," said Hainer on Bild-TV.

According to reports, however, the German record champions are very interested in bringing the captain of the Three Lions to Munich next summer.
Kane's contract with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League runs until 2024. FC Bayern is "a top, top club," said the 29-year-old last Tuesday, but he is currently "focused on Spurs and trying to do the best for us to reach".
The Bayern President also reacted to this.
He's happy, "when Harry Kane praises FC Bayern like that, that's also confirmation for us," said Hainer.
However, he is "firmly convinced" that the Bayern strikers "will prove" that no acquisition is necessary.
Not only Kane, but also no other player should come in winter, because Hainer (68) also ruled out an addition in the coming transfer window.
"I don't see why we should make a transfer in winter.
We are well filled in all positions.”
Uli Hoeneß was annoyed by Michael Ott's appearance at last year's AGM.
The Bayern patron threw that at the Qatar critic this year.
