Problems with a camera attached to ropes above the field caused the Bundesliga game between Borussia Mönchengladbach and Eintracht Frankfurt to be interrupted for around seven minutes.
A cable from the camera fell onto the pitch, so referee Daniel Siebert interrupted the game in the 77th minute.
The camera and loose ropes had to be removed by several stadium employees.
The game could then continue.
The guests secured the victory.
Coach Oliver Glasner's team won against Mönchengladbach 3-1 (3-0), Eintracht jumped to fourth place in the Bundesliga table.
Borussia fell from the European Cup ranks to ninth place.
Jesper Lindström (6th and 45th minutes) and Eric Dina Ebimbe (29th) scored the goals for Frankfurt before half-time.
Marcus Thuram was able to shorten the gap in the 72nd minute, but there was no recovery.
Shortly after the goal of the Gladbach attacker came the camera glitch.
