Maccabi Tel Aviv completed one of its most important moves in recent years: Oskar Gloch signed a new contract with the team today (Thursday), which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2025. The previous contract of the 18-year-old diamond already provided 4 goals and 5 goals this season cooking, was valid until the summer of 2023 and if he had insisted on continuing under his current terms, he could have become a free agent in January.

Despite this, Gloch decided to tie his future with the team, and in the new contract he will receive other conditions that suit his position in the team.

Gloch does not intend to leave in January and the ambition of the parties is that he will be sold to a first class club in Europe in the summer, for a realistic amount.

Gloch has a release clause in the new contract, and in any case there is a gentleman's agreement between the parties that the team will not stand in the way of the contact if an offer arrives from a senior team on the continent.

Maccabi Tel Aviv, for its part, will receive a percentage of its future sale.

After signing the contract, Gluch told the club's official website: "I'm happy. I enjoy playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv. It's something I really wanted to do and it's always been my goal - to grow in Maccabi's youth department, work hard and move up to the senior team. The 18-year-old Gluch's meteoric breakthrough began at the end of last season, when Maccabi Tel Aviv coach Mladen Karstaich made him a regular player in the senior team.

Gloch scored three goals in the last rounds of the top playoffs.
