Munich – FC Bayern is back in “flow”, as the record champions themselves called it after the 6-2 thrashing of Mainz.
However, after six consecutive games in a row, it was not enough to lead the table in the Bundesliga, Union Berlin regained the top position.
In the Champions League, on the other hand, Bayern can no longer take first place and the associated entry into the round of 16 before the final group game on Tuesday (9 p.m.) against Inter Milan.
Nevertheless, the people of Munich want to expand their series and thus stay in the "flow".
Coach Julian Nagelsmann, who will answer journalists' questions at the press conference on Monday at 1 p.m., could give one or the other star a break and rotate them against Inter.
Joshua Kimmich is also a guest at PK.
However, there are still concerns about Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller, who will also be missing injured in the Champions League.

"We're going to change something, but we'll have to wait and see what happens in the next two days.
There will probably not be seven players that we rotate, but maybe three, four," said Nagelsmann after the 6-2 win over Mainz and added: "We have a few who have a lot of minutes in their bones." A break is to be expected for defender Matthijs de Ligt, who was substituted at half-time with a hamstring problem.
His logical replacement in central defense would be Benjamin Pavard, who apparently caused a scandal in training at Bayern on Sunday and ignored Nagelsmann.

It will be interesting to see how Bayern's training will go at 11 a.m. on Säbener Strasse before the press conference.
Then Leroy Sané gets involved again, who started team training after tearing his muscle fiber on Sunday.
Nagelsmann should reveal at the PK at 1 p.m. whether he is an option for the starting XI.

The FC Bayern coach still has to do without Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller.
While the goalkeeper has been recovering from his shoulder joint contusion for weeks, Müller's hip injury shortly before the 2022 World Cup also seems to be more complicated than initially assumed.

"With Thomas we have the diagnosis that he has a small problem with his muscles," said sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic.
"I can't say how long that will take." Müller himself doesn't see his participation in the World Cup in danger.
Nagelsmann could also shed some light on this.
